We use the following data when you enter into a contract with us:

Personal Information

First and last name, full address, all contact details (e.g. e-mail address, telephone number), information on the type of contract and its content.

Other personal data that you or a third party transmit with your consent or other data permitted when initiating a contract during the entire contractual relationship (e.g. when issuing the guest card), or to comply with legal regulations: date of birth or age , marital status, gender, occupation, identification data, bank details, authority to sign or represent, contractual obligation, periods of notice or other personal data provided by yourself.

Use of processors

The security of your data is important for us. Even if we use contract processors Smoobu.com and Feratel – guest directory in accordance with Section 19 of the Registration Act (MeldeV), we ensure that the data is processed within the European Union.

1. Registration Data

1.1 Registration Requirement

According to the Austrian Registration Act, you are obliged to register with us and to provide us with the data specified in § 5 and § 10 of the Registration Act. This concerns the following data:

Name, date of birth, gender, nationality, country of origin and address with zip code. Foreign guests are also required to provide the type of travel document they are traveling with, its number, the place and authority of issue, and the arrival and departure dates.

1.2. Guestbook

We are legally obliged to keep this data in a guest directory in accordance with Section 19 of the Austrian Registration Act and to store it for seven (7) years, unless it is processed for a longer period of time for other reasons stated in this data protection declaration.

We keep the guest directory electronically and forward the data to an IT processor, where the data is stored locally. The data will not be transmitted to a third country.

1.3. Sharing of data

Arrival and departure data are forwarded to the municipality in which our accommodation facility is located together with the country of origin in accordance with § 6 of the Tourism Statistics Ordinance. Aggregated data on the total number of overnight stays and the names of the persons who are liable for the local tax are also forwarded to the respective tourism association Stubai Tourismus Verband, to which we belong. This is done in accordance with Section 9 of the Tyrolean Residence Tax Act.

1.4 Legal basis for data processing

The data processing according to the above paragraphs 1.1 to 1.3 takes place on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter 6, Paragraph 1 Letter c GDPR (fulfilment of a legal obligation).

1.5 Additional data transfer to tourism association/municipality

We also transmit your postal code and your year of birth (in pseudonymised and anonymous form) to our municipality and our tourism association. This is done for statistical purposes so that the tourism association can compile and evaluate statistics on the country of origin and age. The data is passed on in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e (public interest) and letter f (legitimate overriding interests) GDPR. You can object at any time for reasons that arise ab your particular situation (Article 21 (1) GDPR).

2. Guest card

2.1 General Information

You can use a guest card. A guest card offers discounts and/or services ab various regional companies (e.g. reduced admission). The guest card is valid for the duration of your stay with us.

2.2 Issue of guest cards

Guest cards are only issued on request by the accommodation provider. Depending on the guest card system of the tourism association and/or accommodation provider, you will receive one of the following cards:

  • Electronically generated guest card,
  • Manually created guest card
  • Copy of registration form.

2.3 Personal data processed

The following personal data, which is taken ab the registration data (see point 1 above), is processed for both the electronically generated and the manually created guest card: First name, last name, date of birth and length of stay (arrival/departure), country of origin, postal code.

If the guest card is issued as a copy of the registration form, it contains the information in accordance with Section 5 in conjunction with Section 9 of the Registration Act (see 1.1 Registration data). In this case, there is no electronic processing of the data for guest card purposes. When using the guest card, the following personal data is also processed: data on the frequency of use of the card, services used, bookings, transaction logging, billing data, reference to registration data and the accommodation company. This data is required on the one hand to establish your identity and on the other hand to determine the period of validity of the guest card at the respective service provider. It also facilitates the settlement of discounts between the service providers, the tourism association and, if applicable, the accommodation providers.

2.4 Legal basis for data processing

The data is processed for guest card purposes, either on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR) if the guest card is part of the service provision specified in the accommodation contract . You may withdraw your consent at any time by giving notice to the Accommodation Provider or by emailing [email protected]

2.5 Guest Card System Management

The guest card system is managed by the local tourist board. Other participants are the local accommodation providers and local companies (service providers). Data processed for guest cards will be deleted after forty-eight. (48) months.

2.6 Recipients of the data

The data processed as part of the guest card is forwarded to the local tourism association in order to facilitate billing with service providers and/or accommodation providers. Individual service providers who redeem the guest card and offer discounted services also receive this data if you use the services of these companies that are offered via the guest card.

In order to take advantage of discounts, you must present the card with these details to the service provider. The company then checks whether the card is (still) valid, usually by scanning the barcode on the guest card and then sending the barcode data to our IT operator. Personal data is also transmitted to the facility, in particular data on your identity (to verify identity and date of birth).

If the guest card is a copy of the registration form, the company will check its validity based on the copy of the registration form.

3. Other processing of your data

As a rule, we only process the data that is absolutely necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract. However, with your consent and until you withdraw your consent, we will also send you information about our services. We will send you information via the following communication channels if you have provided us with the relevant data: telephone, e-mail, mobile number for SMS, address, social media information.

4. Clear Data
Your personal data and other personal data will be deleted when it is no longer required to comply with retention laws, typically after seven (7) years, or when the data is prohibited by law ab being stored.

Instead of deleting the data, it can also be made anonymous, which means that any personal reference is irrevocably removed.

5. Cookies

6. Web Analysis

Our website uses functions ab GoogleAnalytics, Smoobu.com, Pricelabs.co and Booking.com. web analytics services. The service uses cookies to analyze your use of a particular website. The information collected is transmitted to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are saved. We have concluded a corresponding order processing contract with the provider.

7. newsletters

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do this, you must provide your e-mail address and give your consent to receive the newsletter.

In order to provide you with the information that is most relevant to you, we also collect data that you have voluntarily provided, such as B. Information about your interests, your birthday and your zip code.

As soon as you have registered for our newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration.

You can unsubscribe anytime. Send your unsubscribe request to the following email address: [email protected]. We will then immediately delete your data used for sending the newsletter.

8. Social Media Plugins

The facility uses social media plugins (interfaces to social networks) embedded on its website. When you visit its website, the system automatically connects to the respective social network via the plugin and transmits the data (IP address, website visit, etc.).

The institution does not support data transmission and is not responsible for the transmission. The user can prevent the transmission of this data by logging out of their social networks before visiting the website. The social network can only link certain data to the user’s activity profile through automatic data transmission if the user is logged in.

The automatically transmitted data is used exclusively by the social network providers and not by the accommodation facility. For more information, including information about the content of the data collected by social networks, you can go directly to the website of the respective social network.
